Indeed, during his presentation at the University of Montreal, Geoff Molson made a very interesting statement related to the possible contract extension for Cole Caufield, and everything seems to indicate that an official announcement should be made soon :


Although some fans were worried about the young forward still being without a contract, Geoff Molson reassured everyone by mentioning that it was only a matter of time before Cole Caufield re-signs with the Canadiens:

The 22-year-old forward had an excellent start to the season with 36 points, including 26 goals, in 46 games before a nasty injury forced him to miss the remainder of the regular season.
