In recent years, the Canadiens played with retro jerseys that strongly resembled those of the Montreal Expos. They were beautiful, no doubt, but the team never had success with them, and it was almost like a curse.
So, it's the end for that jersey, but what about the next one?
The organization may have inadvertently leaked a major clue by making a post about a Nick Suzuki bobblehead wearing a vintage jersey, which the first 8,000 fans at the Bell Centre on December 4th will have the chance to get. Here's the jersey:
Will the organization decide to wear this uniform for a few games this year? It remains to be seen, but as it's very popular in the NHL to have a third jersey, it could very well happen.
