It's a current topic of discussion, as many analysts and fans are questioning the off-ice behavior of some Canadiens players.

It seems that some of them are partying, and it's bothering some people. But why? Just because they play for the Canadiens, do they not have the right to a private life?

We're not talking about abuse here, just players who party once in a while for a good reason, like everyone else.

Here's a statement from Renaud Lavoie that's causing quite a stir.

"Nathan Beaulieu, for example, the Canadiens win on a Saturday night at the Bell Centre and it's his birthday. He goes out to a bar in Montreal and it's off on Sunday.

Yes, it's a party, a real party, it's his birthday party.

But then someone decides to film it, put it on social media, and suddenly everyone says it's not right.

After that, Nathan Beaulieu found himself in the office on Monday morning getting an earful... But I mean, what did he do wrong?

His team won, it's his birthday on a Saturday night, okay, he may have gone a little overboard in how he celebrated his party, but we would never have known if there hadn't been a cell phone around to film it." - Renaud Lavoie

Recently, Cole Caufield was in the spotlight, but he's extremely careful. With social media and the popularity they have, players are now afraid to go out and are much more cautious.

It's a shame that young men in their twenties can't have a drink moderately on their birthday without being judged by a nation.
