Cole Caufield revisits his decision and his future will be at stake
The dream of every hockey player is undoubtedly to play in the NHL. For Cole Caufield of the Canadiens, we can say that's settled.
However, representing his country in the Olympics is also very important. For Cole, it's important too, and he received a serious warning.Indeed, a few days ago, Cole was quite evasive about the possibility of going to the World Championship.
"I'm keeping that in mind. Let's finish the season here and we'll see." - Cole Caufield
Shortly after this statement, Team USA GM Bill Guerin mentioned that players who want to participate in the Olympics might do well not to turn their backs on the World Championship.
Cole's tune suddenly changed. He seemed uninterested, but that has changed now.
"And now, his response has changed. Even Arpon Basu noted how quickly he changed his mind in his article.
"It's something I've always wanted to do. Maybe it'll be this year." - Cole Caufield

Obviously, he must be invited first, but that's, in my opinion, a formality. Let's hope for him that he will one day participate in the Olympics.
