Major announcement for Juraj Slafkovsky: his season continues
The Canadiens played their 82nd and final game of the season on Tuesday night, but for Juraj Slafkovsky, the end of his season has not yet come.
Indeed, the Slovakian will go on to represent his country at the World Championship. Several other Canadiens players, including Cole Caufield, Nick Suzuki, Justin Barron, Samuel Montembeault, and others may also participate.
"Juraj Slafkovsky will play at the Worlds." - Eric Engels
We know that Slafkovsky is a star in his country. Representing his own is very important to him, and he was unable to do so last year because he was recovering from an injury.
This year, not only has he played 82 games, but he is also in great shape. He will be able to join his compatriots and recent/former Canadiens players Filip Mesar and Tomas Tatar.
