We can therefore think that players like Kirby Dach, Alex Newhook, and Logan Mailloux would be on their radar. Besides Newhook, I don't see such a proposal happening.
This definitely reduces the chances of seeing the forward in Montreal. Kent Hughes has few low-salary players who are interesting to other teams, and he certainly wants to keep them.
It will be interesting to see what happens next, but if LeBrun is right, I think we can definitely forget about Martin Necas coming to Montreal.
