Montreal Canadiens: It's starting to become very concerning for Juraj Slafkovsky
While the Canadiens are in Carolina, preparing for their matchup against the Hurricanes on Thursday night, there was a morning practice.
Obviously, with the number of transactions that have occurred, it went somewhat unnoticed, but the Canadiens issued a statement regarding young players Juraj Slafkovsky and Alex Newhook."The forwards Alex Newhook and Juraj Slafkovsky will not participate in today's practice (treatment day)." - Montreal Canadiens
For Newhook, it's not unusual, although he recently returned from an injury. For Slafkovsky, the story seems to be repeating.
The Slovak has missed almost all of his team's practices for the past two weeks. He is clearly bothered by something.
Let's hope things improve quickly for him because the Canadiens really need him, which we wouldn't have expected to say at the beginning of the season.
