Owen Beck following in Juraj Slafkovsky's footsteps? A video goes viral
If there's one young forward who could surprise at the next training camp, it's Owen Beck, and he's doing everything in his power to make it happen.
He was drafted two years ago, and each time, it felt like he was just a step away from reaching the NHL and playing with the Canadiens.
With the Canadiens' development camp in full swing, Beck is obviously present and ready. It's often said that off-ice training is crucial, and he's proving he's serious about it.
Remember Juraj Slafkovsky during his draft year and his first development camp? He had impressed off the ice first and foremost.
He even broke a stationary bike because of his power. Beck didn't break the bike, but let's just say he gave it a rough ride. And what about his chin-ups? He seemed unstoppable!
Beck has truly arrived in great shape, intending to leave a very positive impression once again at the training camp.
He will undoubtedly be a very good third-line center when he joins the Canadiens.
