Since his call-up at the beginning of the season, Jayden Struble has really earned his spot with the Canadiens. He was solid and always did the right things, without overdoing it.

However, since he got injured a few weeks ago, the scenario has changed. He has returned, but for the first time on Thursday night, he was left out in favor of another defenseman, in this case Jordan Harris.

It was the first time that another defenseman was preferred over him since his call-up, which raises questions. According to Anthony Marcotte, the voice of the Laval Rocket, this is the perfect time to send him down.

Another player who could be sent down to Laval is Joshua Roy. It's hard to believe that it's a good idea because he has earned his place in the Canadiens' lineup, but there are currently two extra forwards, and the Rocket is in the midst of a playoff push.

The Canadiens are embarking on a long journey, and so is the Rocket. According to Marc-Antoine Godin, the timing would be perfect for both young players.

"The Canadiens leave on Friday for a very long trip. With 2 extra forwards, it would make sense to take advantage of the moment to send Joshua Roy to Laval. Except he's having another good game tonight. The trio he forms with Armia and Newhook is the best on the Habs after 2 periods." - Marc Antoine Godin

Sending Roy down would definitely be a loss for the Canadiens. It's understood that Michael Pezzetta or Jesse Ylonen can't do his job, but for the good of the Rocket, this decision could happen before the team's departure to the West.
