The Montreal Canadiens are preparing to host the Los Angeles Kings tonight at the Bell Centre, with key figures expected to be in attendance.

Even though we often talk about the importance of winning in November, this matchup could carry very different weight for certain key players.
"Don Sweeney and Julien Brisebois among Team Canada brass members expected to be at Bell Centre for Kings-Habs tonight.

That said, they're currently in Toronto for GM meeting and it's snowing a lot here in Montreal..."

- Eric Engels
The snow has arrived in Montreal - and not lightly.
The roads are slippery, the sidewalks are covered, and even the simplest trips have become complicated.
According to information reported by Marc-Olivier Cook in a piece on DansLesCoulisses, Don Sweeney and Julien BriseBois, two key Team Canada executives, are expected to attend the game.
And with the heavy snowfall, their presence is likely, but not guaranteed.
If the Team Canada executives really make it to the Bell Centre tonight, there are a few Canadiens players who will catch their eye.
Nick Suzuki, obviously.
Samuel Montembeault as well... he gets the start tonight for the Habs, and his performance will be heavily looked at.
And even Noah Dobson, who plays a major role on defense.
As Marc-Olivier Cook points out, all of this adds a little tension to the game.
"If BriseBois and Sweeney are in the building, there are Canadiens players who will need to understand the message.

Nick Suzuki, Samuel Montembeault, Noah Dobson... those guys need to have a good game to make an impression on Team Canada's executives. But at the same time, whether they're there or not, it's the same in a way: the players have to perform well regardless.

- Marc-Olivier Cook
In other words, this is not just another game.
There is also something to prove.
"It's not the presence of Sweeney and BriseBois that should change anything about the players' approach on the ice." Cook added

Whether the executives are there or not, the intensity shouldn't change.
The Kings are excellent on the road, and Montreal will pay for it if they start slowly.
