The CH and the crowd at the Bell Centre cheer for Cayden Primeau

It was during a magical moment on Tuesday night that the Canadiens and the crowd at the Bell Centre warmly cheered for Cayden Primeau.

Indeed, he won the Molson Cup for the month of March with superb performances. This honor was bestowed upon him in front of the crowd on Tuesday night, and it was amidst applause that he left the ice.

The fans were chanting his name in the arena, and it was beautiful to see. For a 7th round pick who was initially seen as the extra goalie at the start of the season, we can say that it's quite a turnaround.

You could see he was very touched. He is naturally more shy, but he truly loves Montreal, so much so that he regularly asks Chantal Machabée for help with his French.

A rather special fact; it's the first time in years that the Molson Cup has been awarded to a goalie with the initials C.P. other than Carey Price!

Congratulations Cayden, it's well deserved!
