Dylan Strome gets emotional after learning his wife gave birth during the Capitals-Canadiens game
The Montreal Canadiens had another tough start against the Capitals on an emotional night in which Dylan Strome learned important family news during the game.
Another very difficult evening in Montreal, as the Canadiens defense once again had major problems, and the Capitals won 8-4 at the Bell Centre.
Samuel Montembeault gave up three goals on just 10 shots and left the game after 22 minutes of play. After that, Jakub Dobes came in and also struggled. A real night to forget for the Habs.
As reported earlier, Jake Evans left the game after an elbow from Tom Wilson. Nick Suzuki and the rest of the team weren't pleased with the officials.

Capitals forward Dylan Strome learned that his wife had just given birth to their third daughter during the first period. The player was filled with emotion.
"An emotional Dylan Strome just told us that his wife, Tayler, had their third daughter, Sutton Kimberly, during the first period tonight. He said it was a horrible feeling not to be able to be there with her, but he's incredibly proud and excited to get home to meet his daughter."

He absolutely wanted to deliver a win for his family, and that's what he did. I must admit it's beautiful to see... even on such a chaotic night in Montreal.
