The worst is confirmed for Connor Bedard, and it's really sad
Connor Bedard underwent a hit last week that would change his season. The forward fractured his jaw on the play and has been sidelined since.
The young star has undergone surgery since then, and the news is not particularly positive. He is expected to miss nearly two months, so he can forget about the NHL All-Star Game."Hearing Connor Bedard underwent surgery on Monday to repair his fractured jaw.

It's truly unfortunate for Bedard and for all hockey fans in general. The All-Star weekend is a unique moment and a very rewarding experience for young players like him.
Furthermore, fans who were hoping to see him in the skills competition will have to wait for an additional year. The good news is that the Blackhawks' number 98 will have his chance to participate every year, and it's just a matter of time.
Let's hope he comes back in great shape when he recovers from his surgery.
