Very concerning development in the Valeri Nichushkin case

He was not in the team's lineup to face the Seattle Kraken, nor was he present with the team, as he left suddenly to return to his home country without giving a specific reason.

The concerning situation in Nichushkin's case is linked to the political situation in his country, which we are familiar with.

Unlike Alex Ovechkin, who left earlier this season for family reasons, Nichushkin would not have left for such reasons, which is particularly worrying. He was even escorted to the airport with security, indicating the severity of the situation.

We have not had any news from Nichushkin since his departure, but we had hoped to see him back for his team's training in Colorado today, or at least to hear from him.
