A scene between Ivan Demidov and Juraj Slafkovsky of the Habs is going viral
Two years apart, the Canadiens drafted Juraj Slafkovsky in the first round in 2022 and Ivan Demidov in 2024; two forwards who are changing the team's landscape.
These are two excellent acquisitions. If it's confirmed for Slaf, who had an excellent second half of the season, it will soon be for Demidov, who will arrive in North America in 2025.
The two young athletes have a two-year age gap, but that hasn't stopped them from facing each other twice in the past. Slafkovsky being Slovak and Demidov Russian, they have crossed paths at the international level, and a scene is currently going viral on the web.
