Big rumor about Juraj Slafkovsky: it's now official

He is undoubtedly the rising Slovak star for the World Championship. He's a star in his country and rightfully so, being drafted first overall in 2022.

It was to be expected, but it's now confirmed. Slaf will participate in the World Championship and represent Slovakia.

With 50 points in 82 games in his second NHL season, his progression is remarkable. Slafkovsky tallied 35 of his 50 points in the last 39 games. That's very impressive, especially considering he just turned 20.

It's a great experience for him to go to the World Championship, especially since, as we can see, he lives and breathes hockey. He would never stop if it were up to him.

He will be the player to watch on his team and rightfully so. He may even face off against Cole Caufield and the mighty Americans, who will be the team to beat this year.
