Canadiens' New Star Noah Dobson and Wife Alexa Share a Stunning Surprise with Fans

On social media, the Canadiens' new defenseman revealed the impressive transformation of his home alongside his partner, Alexa Dobson.

In 2018, the New York Islanders selected Noah Dobson in the 1st round, 12th overall, in the NHL Draft.

The 6'4", 200 lb defenseman had an incredible run in the QMJHL, winning the Memorial Cup twice. He first lifted the prestigious trophy in 2018 with the Acadie-Bathurst Titan, then repeated the feat the following year after being traded to the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies.

At just 17 years old, Dobson was sensational in his second junior season, recording 17 goals and 69 points in 67 games.

He made his NHL debut in the 2019-20 season, playing his first game against the Edmonton Oilers in a 5-2 home loss. On that special night, the native of Summerside, Prince Edward Island, notched his first career point with an assist on a goal by Matt Martin.

Unfortunately, Dobson dealt with several injuries early in his NHL career and missed a lot of hockey. He finally returned to full form in the 2021-22 season and quickly established himself as a key piece of the Islanders' defensive corps.

From 2021 to 2024, Noah Dobson posted seasons of 51, 49, and 70 points. Last season, the entire team faced struggles, and he finished with 39 points in 71 games.

Now in Montreal, he joins Lane Hutson, Kaiden Guhle, Mike Matheson, Arber Xhekaj, Jayden Struble, and Alexandre Carriere on the blue line, with prospects David Reinbacher and Adam Engstrom also pushing to earn roster spots in the coming months.

The couple owns a beautiful waterfront residence in Prince Edward Island and has carried out major renovations over the past few months-both inside and out.
