Two members of the Canadiens stand out with their presence, as Cole Caufield and Patrik Laine flew to Pennsylvania to attend the event in person and pay their final respects to Johnny Hockey.
They are among many in attendance, and Cole Caufield didn't go unnoticed by journalists. He was interviewed and had kind words for the late Johnny Gaudreau.
This is a very touching statement, and it seems he was quite close to Johnny Gaudreau and his family. It's not surprising, as Cole Caufield surrounds himself with good people, including Canadiens teammate Nick Suzuki.
Patrik Laine, who played with Johnny Gaudreau for the past two seasons, is also present. It's heartening to see players traveling to pay their final respects.
Once again, we extend our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau.
