Kent Hughes Reveals Next Steps for Top Canadiens Prospect David Reinbacher
Since joining the Montreal Canadiens organization, David Reinbacher has been regarded as one of the team's top prospects.
After a shortened season last year, David Reinbacher didn't have the opportunity to fully showcase his talent.
He played through an injury in several games and missed multiple contests.
Montreal Canadiens Will Be Patient With David Reinbacher
Reinbacher impressed even during his rehab in Montreal, attending meetings and video sessions with the coaching staff.
The way Reinbacher absorbed information, combined with his performance when healthy, has the Canadiens very optimistic about his future.
"We know David's an NHL defenseman," Hughes said. "We're excited about that. We're excited about what he's going to represent to our organization over time. But we're not going to force him into things."

Ultimately, we will likely get the chance to see Reinbacher with the Canadiens this season, and it will be interesting to see how Martin St-Louis chooses to use him.
