Cole Caufield Trains with Two NHL Stars in Offseason Session That Has Fans Buzzing

What does the Montreal Canadiens' 2025-26 season have in store for us? One thing's for sure: Martin St. Louis' squad seems well-prepared to take the next step, having surprised everyone by making the 2025 playoffs.

In the first round, the Montreal organization faced the Washington Capitals and put up a strong fight against Alex Ovechkin's squad but unfortunately fell in five games. It must be said that the injuries to Samuel Montembeault and Alexandre Carrier were major setbacks.

Today, several Canadiens players caused quite a stir by showing up for training in Brossard in the middle of July. Captain Nick Suzuki was there, along with Arber Xhekaj, Ivan Demidov, Jayden Struble, Alex Newhook, and Patrik Laine.

All six players trained hard-they weren't just out there to goof around with friends. You can clearly see they're on a mission for the upcoming season with a lineup that will feature new faces like Zachary Bolduc and Noah Dobson.

During the summer, Cole Caufield chose to go back to the U.S. to be with his family-and that decision deserves respect.

However, even though he's not in Quebec training with his teammates, the forward is still putting in serious work.

Caufield is preparing for the upcoming season by training with Dylan Larkin, captain of the Detroit Red Wings, and Quinn Hughes, the star defenseman of the Vancouver Canucks.

The right winger is surrounded by other talented players, but no doubt he must miss his close friend Suzuki and the rest of the Canadiens! We can't wait to see him back in Montreal!
