Impactful statement from PK Subban about Lane Hutson: here we go
They sometimes say that Lane Hutson is the first electrifying defenseman since PK Subban in Montreal, and the latter has just commented on the young prospect's talent.
Indeed, we all know PK and we know he always speaks his mind, even if it's not the popular opinion. He has never been afraid of criticism and has always stood by his words.
In this case, he won't have to do that. His opinion is very similar to others regarding Lane Hutson, and he even gives specific details about the defender's talent.
He seems to be a fan of how he talks about him.
I have a lot of respect for a player who can admire another. PK Subban has always given the impression of having a big head, but he knows how to recognize talent and has never been afraid to say it.
Lane Hutson is going to be a great hockey player in the NHL, and if we go by Subban's impactful comments, he already possesses skills that few players have.
As he aptly put it: "not sure you can teach that!"
Martin St-Louis and Kent Hughes will have important decisions to make, as Lane Hutson and Logan Mailloux seem to be in a class of their own and ready to play in the NHL, while Justin Barron and Jayden Struble also deserve a shot.
It will be a great internal competition for these four defensemen, who will be vying for the remaining two spots.
