It's Celine Dion who stole the show for the Canadiens in Las Vegas
Moments before the draft began, Kent Hughes publicly announced that he had a surprise for us.
With two first-round picks, we certainly expected a trade, but it didn't happen.
The surprise was none other than the great Celine Dion, who announced the first overall pick, Ivan Demidov.
Following her recent appearance, it's quite surprising and reassuring to see the singer step into the Vegas scene like this. We know she lives there, but it's still a very pleasant surprise.
No one saw that coming. It's really thoughtful of the Canadiens to have invited her!
You could say she completely stole the show, especially since she announced the most popular pick.
