True to their habit, Ivan Demidov and Lane Hutson were the first to hit the ice today in Brossard. They even delivered a magical duel for Canadiens fans.

Unless you've been living under a rock, you already know just how much these two represent the future of the Habs. Ivan Demidov could even become the second consecutive Canadiens player to win the Calder Trophy. Despite our already high expectations, the dynamic duo has continued to impress us at practice for several weeks now.
The lucky fans who went to Brossard this morning witnessed a magical scene: accompanied by Adam Nicholas, the Canadiens' Director of Hockey Development, Ivan Demidov and Lane Hutson faced off one-on-one for several minutes.

A Lane Hutson-Ivan Demidov Duel That Captures the Imagination

Internet users flocked to the video posted by PatHockey, who regularly shares clips like this and has been doing excellent work in Brossard for several weeks now.
"A small one-on-one duel between Demidov and Hutson under the watchful eye of Development Director Adam Nicholas." - Pat Hockey
This is enough to excite any true Canadiens fan as the next season approaches.
Let us recall that last night, during his first appearance on 98.5 radio, Tony Marinaro reported important information regarding Demidov's decision to stay in Montreal this summer.
Whatever the reasons, we certainly won't complain about his decision-especially given the intensity he shows at practice!
