Major news confirmed by Martin St-Louis and Kent Hughes
We mentioned this morning that Alex Newhook was on the first power-play unit during the Canadiens' practice.
Martin St-Louis wouldn't have done that, or at least not consistently, if he wasn't convinced that number 15 was coming back for the weekend games.
Newhook is still on the injured list, but a major clue has just revealed that he will be present tomorrow.
Indeed, Lucas Condotta was assigned to the Laval Rocket in the last few minutes.

This is excellent news for the Canadiens' offense, but also for Brandon Gignac, who has earned his place (for now) with the team. He played one game, and that was enough to convince the management.
Expect quality reinforcement for Saturday with Alex Newhook, who should center the second line. There will be speed on this line with him and Josh Anderson.
We remind you that as usual, during the Super Bowl weekend, the Canadiens play at 1:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday.
