The Habs have already confirmed two important dates, and we have the details
While the Stanley Cup hasn't even been won yet at the time of writing, the Canadiens have already confirmed two dates related to the upcoming schedule.
Indeed, it's very early for such an announcement, but we are really looking forward to seeing the Canadiens in action again!
Canadiens' Preseason Game Dates Already Confirmed
So, it's a date at the Bell Centre on September 23 and 24, as the Canadiens will play two home games on consecutive nights.
"Some #NHL teams have begun announcing their 2024 preseason game schedules - so far the two #Habs home dates I've seen are Monday, September 23rd (vs. PHI) and Tuesday, September 24th (vs. NJ)." - Priyanta Emrith
The Canadiens will host the New Jersey Devils and the Philadelphia Flyers. It will be a chance to see players like Nick Suzuki, Juraj Slafkovsky, Cole Caufield, and of course Kirby Dach, who will finally be recovered from his injury, in action.
Adding to that are the young defensemen and the future 5th overall pick who will be selected next week, not to mention the possible future acquisition by Kent Hughes, which could well be Trevor Zegras or Martin Necas. It will certainly be exciting.
I don't remember the last time there was such excitement to see the Canadiens again, despite three consecutive miserable seasons.
The fans have shown patience, and it's starting to make a difference.
