Trade between the Canadiens and the Kings involving Christian Dvorak: Kent Hughes may have a partner

We have known for a few months now, and it was quite clear on Monday night, that Christian Dvorak is no longer really in Kent Hughes' plans and those of the Canadiens.
The young players are pushing through, and the veteran will have to make way. Players like
Oliver Kapanen and
Owen Beck, for example, are showing they are ready to make the jump to the NHL, and Dvorak is starting to become surplus.
In a season like last year, where
Kirby Dach was injured and depth was very limited, it was almost a relief when Christian Dvorak was injured. This gives a good idea of his place in the lineup.
Christian Dvorak traded to the Kings?
Without a doubt, a change of scenery would do the forward a lot of good, and the Kings are specifically looking for this type of player. A "bottom 6" center, as David Pagnotta mentions.
"It begins Camps get underway, teams see what they have/don't have, some teams deal with injuries (Kaliyev out a few months), and start to explore outside options.
Like DB, I can see Kings looking for a 4C (unrelated to Arty injury) in the early goings here." - David Pagnotta
Arthur Kaliyev has been linked to the Canadiens several times this summer, and his name is coming up again. He is currently injured for a few months, but he could be a nice trial for Kent Hughes.
It's hard to beat as a trade basis. Currently, Christian Dvorak isn't worth much, and receiving a 23-year-old with nice potential, who will become a free agent at the end of the season and costs only $825,000, would be a great gamble.
At worst, it doesn't work out and the Canadiens let him go next summer, but Kent Hughes would have saved the value of Christian Dvorak's contract.
