Two major surprises in Brossard as key Canadiens make their return to the ice
Jake Evans was in full gear Friday morning in Brossard.
He jumped onto the ice at the CN Sports Complex, and it did not go unnoticed. The center skated with Kirby Dach, Kaiden Guhle, Owen Beck, and Lane Hutson.
It is excellent news to see several players returning, ready for action.

This season, Evans has recorded five goals and five assists, for 10 points in 34 games.
In the NHL, he has played 384 games, scored 45 goals, and collected 138 points in a Canadiens uniform. At 29 years old, he stands 6 feet tall and weighs 190 pounds, according to official listings.
Drafted 207th overall in 2014, he built his place game by game. Seeing him in full gear is a small image that says a lot.
Several returns are expected for the Canadiens
That morning, it was not just a light skate: the group had pace.
The presence of several regulars at the same time eases the discussion somewhat. Brossard quickly becomes an indicator, and Friday's session points in the right direction.

Kirby Dach also wants to make a return to play, and he is showing that he is ready to put in the work. Seeing him on the ice with Evans and the others increases the excitement around the Habs.
Kaiden Guhle appears very close to a return to play, and an official announcement from the team is expected.
His presence, like that of Owen Beck, adds another name that is being talked about a lot around the Canadiens. Lane Hutson was also there, as at every optional practice. Beck completes this picture, and simply seeing them together fuels hope.
In the end, several players seem to be on the right track for a return, but this will make Martin St-Louis' decisions more complex.
