It is often said that the enemy of our enemy is our friend. With rivalries dating back 100 years between the Canadiens and the Maple Leafs, and another between the Habs and the Bruins, we take a mischievous pleasure in watching them despise each other because they are also great rivals amongst themselves.

Another page of the Boston/Toronto rivalry was written on Saturday when David Pastrnak made some rather insulting and painful comments about the Leafs.

Indeed, Auston Matthews' team, composed of four players sporting the maple leaf, including Mitch Marner, William Nylander, Morgan Rielly, and Matthews, emerged victorious.

Following this win at the All-Star Game, the Bruins' star forward wouldn't miss the opportunity to send his message:

Bruins forward David Pastrnak on the four Maple Leafs winning the All-Star Game:

"Good for them. They needed some wins. They got one."

And then he smiled.

It's all fair in love and war! We all know how much the Leafs struggle to win playoff games, and they've also had a rather ordinary season so far.

The Bruins, on the other hand, continue to impress, even after losing Patrice Bergeron, David Krejci, and other key assets like Tyler Bertuzzi. Let's say Pasta has good reasons to taunt them!
