The Montreal Canadiens Organization Have Just Proceeded with a Big Hiring
In the past few hours, we have learned that former Edmonton Oilers and Chicago Blackhawks player, Fernando Pisani, has been hired by the Montreal Canadiens. Indeed, the former NHL forward will take on a role in the habs scouting team.
This news went rather unnoticed since the organization did not make an official announcement on its social networks, but as you can see in the photo above, Fernando Pisani will indeed be an amateur scout for the CH this season.
The newcomer has some connections with certain members of the organization, having been a teammate of Francis Bouillon, who now serves as a player development coach. He also knows young defenseman
Kaiden Guhle well, having been around him during his recent stint with the Edmonton Oil Kings in the WHL.
Fernando Pisani, selected in the 8th round of the 1996 draft, played eight seasons in the NHL, recording a total of 87 goals and 82 assists (169 points) in 462 games in the uniform of the Edmonton Oilers and the Chicago Blackhawks.
One thing is for sure, it's excellent news to see that the Canadiens are constantly looking to expand their hockey staff, and that a new addition is joining the organization.
