A strong clue suggests that David Reinbacher is getting closer to Montreal

When David Reinbacher left to play in Switzerland after the Canadiens' training camp, there were already expectations of his return at the end of his season. However, it might happen sooner than anticipated.

Indeed, a clue suggests that the Austrian could arrive very soon and join the Rocket. His team in Kloten has acquired another young right-handed defenseman to fill his role after his departure, and the Rocket needs help on the right side of the defense.

Kloten now has eight defensemen, while the Rocket has only Logan Mailloux as a right-hander. Justin Barron could be demoted, but let's wait to see what the organization decides.

The Canadiens, therefore, have a choice to make between letting Reinbacher play in a bottom-tier team struggling to score goals and accumulate victories, or bringing him to the Rocket to participate in the playoff race and, who knows, be part of the spring dance.
