As the free agent market is about to open at noon, several names will be watched closely on this important day in the National League.

Among the free agents, there is one Jonathan Drouin, who has spent the last year of his six-year agreement with the Canadien this season.
According to what TVA Sports journalist, Renaud Lavoie, reports, the 27-year-old Quebecer will test the market today.
He even adds that the game plan would be well defined for Drouin, as it is very unlikely that he will sign a lucrative multi-season contract. It would rather be a one-season agreement at a lower salary with a good team that would be the forward's objective.
"We should not expect him to sign a three-year contract, worth $5 million per year, because that will not happen. This is not a surprise to anyone. I think in the case of Jonathan Drouin, he wants to get a one-year agreement, with a good team, at a lower salary that will allow him to turn the page on what he experienced with the Canadiens of Montreal." - Renaud Lavoie
