The United States played an exhibition game against Sweden today, and promising young Montreal Canadiens defenseman, Lane Hutson, was part of it.
The player, who is expected to act as the team's number one defenseman in a few months, just scored an absolutely unbelievable goal.
He practically mocked the opposing defense by controlling the puck behind the net and then surprised the goalie by cutting in front of the net. Honestly, it even looks almost too easy and he shows his exceptional talent for manipulating defenders.
Here are the images that have gone viral:
And another angle for your viewing pleasure:
We are looking forward to seeing him play his second university season, as he would have a very strong team this year with Boston University. The arrival of the possible future first overall pick in the 2024 draft, Macklin Celebrini, as well as the 11th overall pick in the last draft, Tom Willander, are significant additions for the Terriers.
It promises to be an exciting 2023-2024 for Hutson!
