Very Encouraging Statement Regarding Logan Mailloux's Future in the NHL
Although many Canadiens fans are eager for the meeting between Logan Mailloux and Gary Bettman to take place, all indications are that we will have to be patient as the league commissioner mentioned that he would discuss with the Tricolore's hopeful only when he is ready to make the jump to the NHL.
Along with
David Reinbacher and
Lane Hutson, Logan Mailloux is possibly the defenseman who sparks the most interest among CH fans, those who are greatly looking forward to seeing him in action in the NHL.
Moreover, according to comments made by Marc Dumont in his latest column on the Montreal Hockey Now site, the meeting between the league leaders and the young 20-year-old defenseman should only be a formality. He therefore mentions that there is no fear to have concerning the future of Logan Mailloux, who will certainly receive authorization to join the major league.
"To my knowledge, the NHL and the Canadiens have not yet met about Mailloux.
That being said, once they have met, I am certain that Mailloux will be allowed to play." - Marc Dumont
Wow! What wonderful news!
We look forward to seeing him evolve against NHL players during the preseason games that will take place between September 26 and October 8. This will be a golden opportunity for fans to see the progress made by the latter during the 2022-2023 season.
Logan Mailloux was selected 31st overall in the 2021 draft.
