The Montreal Canadiens are reportedly in negotiations to extend the contracts of Jeff Gorton and Kent Hughes, according to Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports.
Although this is not a big surprise, this news confirms the organization's desire to focus on stability in management.

For my part, I sincerely believe that the Hughes-Gorton duo is already among the best around the league.
I like the way the rebuild is progressing, and the last thing the Habs would want is to separate them.
