Number 17 is a hard worker who never hesitates to get involved physically. He played a key role for the Canadiens during the 2025 playoffs against the Washington Capitals and never shied away from confronting Tom Wilson.

According to new projections from the Daily Faceoff site, there is unfortunately some very bad news for Josh Anderson.

The 31-year-old forward would now be slotted onto the 4th line, largely due to the arrival of Ivan Demidov and the emergence of Oliver Kapanen.

According to them, Kapanen would now be given greater responsibilities and would find himself on the 3rd line alongside Patrik Laine and Alex Newhook.

Anderson would play on the bottom line with Brendan Gallagher and Jake Evans, while Kirby Dach is listed on the 2nd line with Ivan Demidov and Zachary Bolduc.

Of course, the first line remains Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Juraj Slafkovsky. However, it wouldn't be surprising to see Demidov shake things up fairly quickly.
