News surrounding injured or absent players always draws attention at the Montreal Canadiens' training camp, especially at the start of the season when anticipation is at its peak.

Just yesterday, Kirby Dach's absence from the intra-squad game had sparked some concern among fans.
Fortunately, less than 24 hours later, excellent news has arrived: the forward will indeed be in uniform today.
Anthony Martineau confirmed that Dach will take part in the intra-squad matchup between Group A and Group B starting at 10:30 a.m.
Here is the full lineup:

Kirby Dach returns to the ice at Montreal Canadiens training camp

After a season marked by an injury that sidelined him for several months, every appearance by Dach is under close watch.
Yesterday, his absence had worried some observers, but Martin St-Louis reminded everyone that there was nothing serious.
The coach had stated:
"We will manage his shifts intelligently, but he is an integral part of our plans."

Today, his participation backs up those comments. Dach will be lined up in Group A, alongside Ivan Demidov, Patrik Laine, and Florian Xhekaj.
An explosive trio that could offer a glimpse of what management envisions for the future.
His presence also helps calm nerves.
As one member of the coaching staff summed it up:
He is progressing well. Seeing him on the ice with intensity is exactly what we wanted."

I think this return sends a clear message: the Canadiens want to take every precaution, but Dach is indeed ready to reclaim a major role on the team.
I can't wait to see his level of play.
