Montreal Canadiens Unveil 2025 Rookie Camp Roster Ahead of September Kickoff

This weekend marks the kickoff of the Canadiens' rookie tournament, and the organization has officially unveiled its lineup.
While one might have feared that the Canadiens would choose to protect their most promising young players ahead of these games, that is not the case.
The presence of several big names will delight fans at the Bell Centre and viewers tuning in on RDS.
David Reinbacher and Ivan Demidov, among others, will be called upon to play at least one game this weekend.
Here is the Canadiens' lineup for the rookie tournament this weekend
"The Montreal Canadiens Hockey Club announced Monday the participation of 26 players in its rookie camp, which will take place at the CN Sports Complex in Brossard and at the Bell Centre in Montreal, from September 10 to 16. The Canadiens prospects will take part in two games at the Bell Centre against the Winnipeg Jets prospects and the Toronto Maple Leafs prospects on September 13 and 14, respectively, as part of the Rookie Faceoff presented by IGA in collaboration with Voisin.
Among the group of 26 players participating in the rookie camp, there are 15 forwards, eight defensemen, and three goalies. Of this number, 18 players were drafted by the Canadiens, including five selected in the 2025 NHL Draft. Three players were also invited through a professional tryout."
