When the Xhekaj family makes headlines for the Montreal Canadiens, fans can't help but smile.
And this time again, it's Simona Xhekaj, the mother of Arber and Florian, who draws attention after sharing a photo of what she calls a post workout meal.

On the board, you can see eggs, meat, fruits, vegetables, and a mountain of protein.
In other words, the perfect fuel for two machines like the Xhekaj brothers.
And it comes at the right time, as both continue to stand out in their own ways, even if their paths are different this season.
Florian Xhekaj Impresses in Laval, Arber Continues His Strong Start in Montreal
According to an article from a few weeks ago by Stu Cowan of the Montreal Gazette, Florian Xhekaj returned from Canadiens camp stronger than ever.
At 6 feet 3 inches and 220 pounds, he has gained a tremendous amount of muscle mass and seems ready for the next call-up.
Even though he was cut before the season started, several observers (myself included) believe he will be Laval's first recall if a spot opens up in Montreal.
"My mom fed me well, I feel super good." he said,
And it's clear this was no joke.
For his part, despite not playing huge minutes with the Canadiens, he has taken a new role with the team and I find his minutes very effective.
He remains true to his robust style, with a strong defensive start to the season.
And if the season is long, it wouldn't be surprising to see the two brothers side by side at the Bell Centre sooner than we think.
I sincerely believe that moment will come quickly, as Florian clearly has the profile the Canadiens are looking for.
