What Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Wore Before Game 7 vs. Dodgers Has Everyone Talking

Saturday night, the World Series pregame took a twist when Vladimir Guerrero Jr. arrived at the Rogers Centre wearing an outfit that completely stole the show.
But let's talk about something a bit more positive here!
And with good reason - the Jays slugger showed up wearing a jersey from Canada's women's hockey team, with Marie-Philip Poulin's name on the back.
Such a perfect nod to the legend known as Captain Clutch, famous for her game-winning goals and inspiring leadership.
Fans went wild as soon as the first images dropped.
And I really loved this shout-out to hockey fans.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. pays tribute to Marie-Philip Poulin before the decisive game
It's not the first time Vladdy Jr. has surprised everyone with his pregame style.
During Game 7 of the series against Seattle, he wore an
Auston Matthews jersey (I know, probably not a popular choice around here), and the Blue Jays won.
Despite the loss, Guerrero Jr.'s outfit went viral - a symbol of genuine respect for a Canadian icon and a passion that transcends sports.
"Vladimir Guerrero Jr's message to the fans, through his translater:
"I got to be very thankful, very grateful for our fans, for the city... I'm sorry, because we couldn't give that title that we know the entire city wants."
- The Shift
It's also great to see a female athlete getting recognition from a star like Vladdy!
I think gestures like this show just how much he understands the spirit of the game and national pride.
