Sean Monahan and Trevor Zegras in trade rumors: It's official, and they are definitely among the targeted players

It's no secret that the Canadiens' player with the most value heading into the trade deadline is Sean Monahan. If Kent Hughes was cautious last year due to injuries, it should be very different this year.

Indeed, number 91 is part of an internal list that includes several names, including Tanner Pearson, Jake Allen, and likely many others. If the GM receives reasonable offers for players like David Savard or Josh Anderson, he will have to listen carefully.

Looking across the league, the list expands, and there are several impact players. This is the case for Frank Seravalli, who presented a list of the top 10 players most likely to be traded.

Elias Lindholm tops the list. He could fetch a significant return for the Flames, especially since he becomes a free agent on July 1 and has no intention of re-signing in Calgary. It's almost certain that he will change teams. Note that Noah Hanifin is also highly coveted on the Flames' side.


Another big name on Seravalli's list is Trevor Zegras. He may not be traded this year, especially since he is currently injured, but it's almost certain that his future is not in Anaheim, unless there is a major turnaround.

However, Pat Verbeek still has two years to consider all of this, as Zegras has been signed for three years.
