Tony Marinaro Compares Ivan Demidov to Kovalev and Kucherov in a Striking Statement

"He's going to be better than Kovalev. Right now, he's being compared to Kucherov. Kucherov was much better than Kovalev - maybe not as a pure talent, but as a career player, playmaker, and hockey player, Kucherov was superior to Kovalev."

Let's not forget that Kucherov has won the Art Ross Trophy three times (2019, 2024, and 2025) in addition to capturing the Stanley Cup twice.
It's clear that, so far, Demidov has shown us a truly rare level of talent.
And that's exactly what Montreal has been waiting for all these years! He's an artist who delivers night after night.
I honestly think that if he keeps up this intensity, he could turn out to be a real steal.
Let's remember that the Canadiens drafted him 5th overall.
