Rumors of Alexander Zharovsky leaving Russia for Montreal have set social media on fire, but Dan Milstein and Marco D'Amico have just clarified everything.

For the past few days, a viral rumor had been circulating suggesting that Alexander Zharovsky might soon leave Russia to come play in North America with the Montreal Canadiens.
Many fans believed it wholeheartedly, especially after the young forward's recent offensive explosion in the KHL. No surprise there - he's off to an incredible start in Russia!
But now, his agent Dan Milstein has decided to set the record straight.

Dan Milstein and Marco D'Amico Clarify the Situation of Young Alexander Zharovsky in the KHL

It all started after a post from the HFTV account on X, suggesting that the 18-year-old Salavat Yulaev Ufa player was about to be brought back to Montreal.
"HFTV's secret insider who correctly reported that Demidov was coming last year returns to tell us some interesting news on Russian prospect Alexander Zharovsky"

- HFTV
A few hours later, Dan Milstein responded directly, putting things back in perspective:
"No insider. No truth. Just fake news and self-promotion. Alex Zharovskiy is under KHL contract until 2027"

- Dan Milstein
Journalist Marco D'Amico from RG Media also confirmed the information.
According to his sources, the topic hasn't even been discussed between the Canadiens and the Ufa organization:
"There isn't a plan in place currently to bring Alexander Zharovsky to North America this spring.

The topic has not been discussed with Ufa and the Canadiens are satisfied with his usage in the KHL at this time."

- Marco D'amico
For his part, D'Amico also added that there's no issue with Zharovsky continuing his progress in the KHL, noting that as long as he's getting playing time (unlike Demidov last year), it's the best option.
TVA Sports journalist Nicolas Cloutier shared the same opinion, writing:
"Zharovsky is in a great spot in Ufa under Viktor Kozlov. If it ain't broken, don't fix it. Habs are in no rush." - Cloutier
Honestly, I think this is the right approach. At 18 years old, the young Russian is learning a lot by facing grown men in such a competitive league.
In my opinion, his time in the NHL will come - but for now, all signs point to him continuing his development in Russia, in a perfect environment for his growth.
