Joshua Roy confirms the rumor, and it's bad news for two other Canadiens forwards

Joshua Roy has played two games in the NHL so far, and we haven't heard much about him on the ice. It's not necessarily a bad thing. It means he hasn't been spectacular, but he also hasn't made too many mistakes.

In an interview with Pierre Houde just before the game against the Avalanche, the forward confirmed a rumor that he would be with the team for the three-game road trip starting Wednesday night in New Jersey.

"It's going to be impressive to be able to go on the road and play away from home." - Joshua Roy

It's good news for the fans and for him as he begins to feel more comfortable and enjoys being an NHL player. However, it's not such good news for Tanner Pearson and Josh Anderson, who are both injured.

Indeed, if one of the two players were guaranteed to return, Joshua would probably have stayed in Laval. We learned on Tuesday that Pearson was accompanying the team to continue his rehabilitation, and Anderson could join them along the way if he gets the green light from the doctors.

For now, it's Joshua who is taking full advantage, and he's doing well. Who knows how long it can last.
