Ivan Demidov and David Reinbacher Turn Heads During Impressive Session in Brossard
It's no longer a secret: Ivan Demidov is already impressing with his work ethic since his arrival in Montreal.
So, it's not very surprising to learn that once again today, the young Russian forward hit the ice for another training session. He wasn't alone:
Jake Evans,
Samuel Blais, and
David Reinbacher were with him.
But what really caught the eye was the scene at the end of practice. While most players headed back to the locker room, two Canadiens prospects decided to put in some extra work: Demidov and Reinbacher.
The duo stayed on the ice to extend their session, working on technical details and doing multiple repetitions.
This gesture, seemingly simple, speaks volumes about the mindset of these two young players. Demidov, already described as a future star by Martin St-Louis, is showing that he doesn't intend to rely solely on natural talent.
Demidov and Reinbacher: Two Young Players Who Want More
Fans also have reason to be excited. The extra sessions by Demidov and Reinbacher are reminiscent of past great players who built their careers through exemplary discipline. For a rebuilding team, every sign of professionalism from its young talent is a reason to hope.
Of course, there is still a long way to go before these two talents become pillars of the Canadiens. But the images of Demidov and Reinbacher working side by side, as the rink emptied, suggest they already possess the most important quality: the will to improve and establish themselves in the NHL.
