In an interview with Stu Cowan for the newspaper, Jayden Struble spoke about his relationship with Arber Xhekaj.
"I love this guy. You can't do anything about it we're fighting for the same spot, but that doesn't mean we can't be friends.
If he comes in and he's better, he'll play. If I come back and I'm better, I'll play. We'll always have lunch together.
It hasn't affected us so far and I don't really see any change."

Both players will have to compete for a spot in the starting lineup.
It's a great thing that they respect each other like this, as it allows them to push themselves.
In addition, Struble spoke about the addition of Noah Dobson to the Canadiens' lineup.
"He's excellent. He's an extremely talented defenseman. He should bring a lot to us, especially offensively. But I feel his defensive game is sometimes overlooked too.
He's a good player. He's going to help us.
