Juraj Slafkovsky just got himself in trouble with a promise
The Canadiens have finished 5th in the NHL's reverse standings for the 2nd consecutive year, but that doesn't stop us from believing in the playoffs in the near future.
Indeed, several players have made great progress, notably Juraj Slafkovsky, Arber Xhekaj, and Jayden Struble.
With the arrival of several quality defensemen and another top 5 pick, not to mention the return of Kirby Dach and the possible acquisition of another promising forward through a trade, the team will be very different next year.
For the players and for owner Geoff Molson, the playoffs will be within reach. In fact, Slafkovsky made a promise to Anthony Martineau in January, and it could put him in an embarrassing situation.
His reaction?

'If we make the playoffs, I'll get this haircut again!'"

Imagine Slaf with blond hair when the Canadiens make the playoffs! It promises to be a bit embarrassing for him, but we love it! Even more so if the other players decide to follow suit.
Remember, Carey Price had also done the same thing in junior.
