After acquiring Noah Dobson and Zachary Bolduc, Kent Hughes remains very active on the trade market.

However, a forward whose name had been circulating actively in rumors is now officially off the market.
It's impossible not to look forward to the upcoming season for the Montreal Canadiens, and the players have been working hard in training since the start of the summer.
Captain Nick Suzuki has very high expectations for the next season and wants to see his team make the playoffs. Number 14 is the leader of the Montreal offense and could approach the 100-point mark in 2025-26.
Cole Caufield will once again be by his side, and young Juraj Slafkovsky will round out the trio. The latter will need to perform well, as the arrival of forward Ivan Demidov could quickly change things.
The Russian will play his rookie season in the NHL and, according to projections from Daily Faceoff, he should be alongside Zachary Bolduc. Currently, the name Kirby Dach appears with them on the second line, but it is unclear whether he will actually be ready to start the next campaign in October.

Marco Rossi is now officially off the trade market, as he has finally reached an agreement with Bill Guerin and the Minnesota Wild

Recently, we reported on comments by Marco D'Amico, indicating that Mason McTavish remains untouchable with the Anaheim Ducks.
"McTavish checks all the boxes for the Canadiens, but he is not available."
- Marco D'Amico

Following McTavish, another player is now officially off the market, and it's forward Marco Rossi, whose name had been actively circulating in rumors since the start of the summer.
Talks between Rossi's camp and GM Bill Guerin were not easy, to the point where the center reportedly threatened not to attend training camp.
"Expecting Marco Rossi's bridge deal with #mnwild to come in at 3 years x $5 million flat. Nice compromise after an uncertain summer for Rossi in Minnesota." - Frank Seravalli
The well-known Frank Seravalli confirms that the deal is for three years and will pay him $5,000,000 annually. This is certainly a huge weight off the forward's shoulders.
