Today at the Brossard Sports Complex, Lane Hutson put on a show, leaving his teammates seemingly speechless as they watched his performance.

Unless there's a surprise, Lane Hutson is likely to start the next campaign without his next contract in hand.

Discussions between the defenseman and the Canadiens appear to be progressing slowly, and number 48 is certainly confident that he will increase his value in the coming months.

With 66 points last season, there's no doubt that the young Hutson has more than enough talent to reach the 75-point mark in 2025-26, and he could rise much higher.

Looking at his numbers since the start of his career, it's clear that they've steadily increased each season.

In 2022-23 with Boston University, he was sensational, posting 48 points in 39 games. The following year, many believed he wouldn't reach that mark again, yet he surpassed it with 49 points in 38 games.

The Holland, Michigan native is spectacular and continuously works to improve aspects of his game. While some NHL players spend the summer having fun and partying, Lane Hutson always keeps his mind on hockey and spends a lot of time training.

In addition to being a phenomenal hockey player, Lane Hutson is a great person off the ice, and his teammates adore him.
