Lies from Juraj Slafkovsky: Mike Matheson makes a hilarious statement
The least we can say is that the sophomore slump hasn't hit Juraj Slafkovsky at all; quite the opposite, in fact.
Not only has the Slovak shown everyone that he can put points on the board, but he has also become very solid on his skates.
Given his size and weight, it was puzzling to see him fall so often during his rookie season. Now, it's quite the opposite.
Slafkovsky is only 20 years old, so imagine him at 25. The future looks bright!
Michael Matheson appeared with Maxim Lapierre and Guillaume Latendresse and admitted that it's pretty special.
Juraj is so physically strong for a 20-year-old that the defenseman couldn't resist making a little joke.
"He's like 34 years old; they lied on his passport." - Mike Matheson
Matheson continued by saying that Slafkovsky has proven to everyone that he knows how to play hockey. Everyone said he was finished at 18, but that's far from the case.
