Martin St-Louis has confirmed that Jakub Dobes will start in goal for the Canadiens tonight against the Vancouver Canucks at Rogers Arena.
The young Czech goaltender will once again have the opportunity to prove that he can make a difference when he's entrusted with the Canadiens' crease.
And honestly, I think it's a decision that makes a lot of sense.
The news was first reported by Renaud Lavoie, who wrote:
"Samuel Montembeault,
Joshua Roy and
Marc Del Gaizoare the only players on the ice at the optional skate this morning."

We can therefore conclude that Monty will be left out!
Jakub Dobes Deserves Martin St-Louis' Confidence
This time, Martin St-Louis hopes that Doby can stabilize the situation and deliver a stronger performance in net - something the Habs desperately need!
The young goaltender will therefore have the responsibility of helping his team finish their Western Canada road trip on a positive note.
As for the Canucks, they're expected to come out hungry, especially after two straight losses.
However, it's
Conor Garland who currently leads the team with 7 points in 8 games.
The small right winger continues to be a consistent offensive force, even as his team experiences ups and downs this season.
The game will start at 7 p.m. (Eastern Time).
It's going to be a good one!
